David Menconi Email
About David
David Menconi has been the Raleigh (NC) News & Observer's music critic since 1991.Before that, he spent a few years at the Boulder (CO) Daily Camera; and before that, he earned a masters in journalism from the University of Texas in Austin, where he wrote his thesis on the History of the Armadillo World Headquarters and also wrote a column for the Daily Texan. He received his undergraduate degree in English from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
